Since its establishment in 1896, the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group has expanded its business fields from land, sea, and air to the deep sea and outer space, providing products and services that meet the diverse needs of people around the world. We are committed to contributing to the enrichment of the lives of people around the world and to the future of the global environment.
And Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. Robot Business Division, as a pioneer industrial robot manufacturer, started production of Japan's first industrial robots in 1969, and since then has been providing high-quality, high-performance Kawasaki robots (welding, assembly/handling, painting, palletizing, etc.) and high-value-added by providing solutions and services, we have contributed to the development of various industries in Japan and abroad, including the automotive industry.
In this Challenge, by applying the “RHP BEX(100Kg payload)”, a large quadruped robot that can switch between walking and wheeled transportation, we are freeing people from heavy lifting and dangerous work on uneven terrain that previously relied on human power, while also enabling people to perform more creative and higher-order tasks by patrolling and collecting data with the robot. We aim to realize a world in which people can engage in more creative and higher-order work through patrols and data collection by robots. Through these activities, we hope to create a world in which humans and robots coexist, and by creating new value, we hope to contribute to solving various social issues that exist on the earth. In order to realize the aforementioned vision, we are widely seeking partners who share our three Challenges and seek to create new social value.
